Mishpacha project
This is my michpacha project, This project is about family history, my life, and how I got my name. The Mishpacha Project provided me with an opportunity to learn more about my family history we were supposed to write about our family history, my life, and how I got my name, I interviewed my parents and asked them a bunch of different questions about our family history. This project was really interesting to me because I love learning about my family history. After all, it’s really interesting. there are a few interesting new things that I learned about my family.
- one of them is that my family has lived in Ireland since the 1600s and still lives there.
- my family speaks about 10 different languages!
- my name in Hebrew means son of the right-hand.
there are a few things that I could for sure change about my project, like adding more pictures and adding more words and stuff

SMART goals reflection
Hello everyone and today I will be talking about my S.M.A.R.T Goals Reflection.
The first topic is,
what your Academic SMART Goals were: my first goal was to Read 10 books with 700 pages. My second goal was to build something robotic like a robot.
How you achieved it or maybe need to revamp it for next year: For my first goal I read a few books with around 300- 400 pages and my second goal I didn’t build anything robotic.
Use an example of what your are proud of that represents your GOALS: Some of the books that i read where 2 percy jackson books and some other books that i can’t remember

public speaking reflection
today i will be writing about my public speaking reflection, here are the things that i will be writing about:
What i liked about my speech: well a few things i liked about my speach where that is was longer than 3 minutes, i was the only one to put a joke (and people laughed) and i was the only person to do it about food.
What i could have done to improve: what i thought i could have done to improve was talk maybe a bit louder and not speak as fast.
What i liked about someone else’s: there where a few that where REALLY good like one that was about why we should have games in our presentation’s and there where also some that had people who where wearing like a hat or a peice of clothing for there speach.
what advice could you offer to something you noticed about someone else’s speach: there where like 3 or 4 speaches that where less than 3 minutes some where less than 2 so some advice would be to make it longer and not talk so fast.
i really loved this years public speaking and im really exited for next year’s, if you want to see my speach than read it here:
Did you know that the most popular place in the world for sushi is japan? or that it takes over 10 years to become a proper sushi chef? Hello my name is Alex and today i will be talking about sushi. My three main points today will be… What is the origin of sushi? Why did sushi become so popular? And The Different Types Of Sushi And Their Ingredients.
Point 1.
So let’s get to point one. Sushi is said to have originated in China between the 5th and 3rd centuries BC. Sushi was originally a means of preservation when fermented rice was used to store fish for anywhere up to a year; this was known as Narezushi. Narezushi, the original form of sushi, has been made in south-east asia for centuries. Narezushi appeared in Japan around the 8th century where a later variant of Narezushi called namanarezushi was invented in the 16th century, which was vinegared rice being consumed instead of being used for preservation.
Point 2.
So let’s get to point 2! One reason that sushi is so popular is that it is easy to eat and tastes good, sushi was often served for celebrations and special occasions back in the 15th to 17th centuries. The art of sushi making was also highly respected with chefs working for years to perfect it. As Japan was becoming more popular in the 1900s sushi spread to other countries throughout the world, the first place it gained popularity was in the United states and canada in the 1960’s and 1970’s, with the introduction of the california rolls and other western themed sushi. Fun fact! Did you know that the longest sushi roll ever was over 2.5 kilometers long!
Point 3.
Let’s get on to point 3! Oh But first a joke!
What did sushi A say to sushi B?… Wasa-B!
Did you know that the california roll is the most popular sushi roll? Inside, you’ll find avocado, cucumber, and imitation crab, all wrapped in a sheet of seaweed and vinegared rice. Another type of sushi is avocado roll which has avocado, seaweed and vinegared rice. Did you know that there special rice just for sushi called sushi rice! There is another type of sushi that is just fish on top of a piece of rice which is called a nigiri. There are many types of sushi like sushi pizza, hand rolls, and alot more.
Conclusion.
This was my first time doing public speaking and I really enjoyed it. My personal favorite sushi is california roll. As a family we eat sushi about once a week. My grandparents lived in japan in the 1970’s and they ate sushi almost everyday. They introduced me to sushi when I was 3 years old and I have loved it ever since. In conclusion, sushi tastes amazing and you should try it! There are a variety of different types of sushi and if you want to find one that you like… just ask me! Have a good day, bye!

Geometry
Geometry, What is it?: im pretty sure geometry is shapes. But not any shape… a shape that have lines (i think)
now for what i found on the internet:
the branch of mathematics concerned with the properties and relations of points, lines, surfaces, solids and higher dimensional analogs. Geometry is a kind of mathematics that deals with shapes and figures. Geometry explains how to build or draw shapes, measure them, and compare them.
